Hornady has come up with another muzzleloading bullet that is easy to load and convenient: the 300 grain FPB®
Choose either the Hornady
350 gr. FPB, or the 300 gr. FPB. It is specially
engineered so that it requires no lube, and only 25 pounds of ram rod pressure, The 300 gr. FPB is one of the easiest loading muzzleloader bullets available.
The 300 gr. FPB is clean, convenient and extremely
accurate. Designed to work flawlessly in all 50 cal
muzzleloaders, the FPB utilizes Flex Tip Technology from
Hornady. The Flex Tip makes this muzzleloader bullet more streamlined and durable, while increasing its BC. The flexible elastomer
tip causes the bullet expand violently on impact.
This expansion leads to a larger wound cavity and a better blood trail if required to track the animal..
Features:
- Elastomer tip causes bullet expansion and clean kills at velocities from 800 to 2000 feet per second..
- Bullet profile design offers flatter trajectories resulting in long-range accuracy.
- Its copper jacket and special design reduces fouling and the need for a sabot
- Ease of loading.
Hornady's FPB® also comes in a 350 grain, offering the same ease of loading and convenience as the lighter 300 grain.

This FPB features offers a BC of .285 making it one of the most
ballistically efficient full-diameter muzzleloader available. The
flexible elastomer tip delivers devastating terminal results at velocities exceeding 800 feet per second.
