Home > Muzzleloader Rate of Twist Chart
This chart will help you select the bullet weight which is most likely to result in the best accuracy. This is only a guide as individual barrels will vary. The only true way to determine "best bullet weight" is to shoot your gun with quality sights off a solid rest. By shooting a variety of bullet weights with a variety of powder types and charges in your specific barrel, you will determine "best bullet weight".

Legend: The greater the number of asterisks, the more compatible the bullet weight is to the twist.
